Good point, I should have remembered to put this in my first post. Yes, it makes no difference to the save corruption or the for that matter crashes, which don't seem to be the cause of the corruption as I have had more instances where I have quit successfully and they corrupt that when the game crashes. My SystemWindows Vista Basic 32 bitDell 4600Neo 550 wt power supplyWD 320GB (125 GB free)x1950 256MB 3 GB 400 DDR MemorySB Audagyġ. As things stand it’s pointless to play as sooner or later I’m going to be transported back to near the start of Act I. If I go back to either a save from the prologue or very early in Act I they may be uncorrupted, but once I have played past a certain point in Act I it can happen again. While ordinary saves images are unaffected, autosaves will convert from showing the image of where they are supposed to be to the location loading. Any additional saves seem to record this point, thereby making further progress impossible. On the attempt at a load of a saved game I will find myself loaded back on an earlier save, often with a mixture of items and quests from both. Using a low number of save slots (4) did not help. I’ve played from the start three times and gone back till I find unaffected saves five times and the result has been the same each time. I guess this is the best place here to post this, I cant see a thread covering it yet.I like the game, however I have been unable to get to the very far into Act I without a whole series of my saves being corrupted back to very early in the act.
